September Meteor of the Month

By September 22, 2021August 26th, 2022No Comments
Our September Meteor of the Month is a four-year member of Lasallian Youth.
She is a member of Ambassador Club, SADD Club, the Cross-Country team and Girls Who Code.
She has been an active LEADER in clubs since her FRESHMAN YEAR.
She was nominated by Ms. Maldonado, who stated, “As a student in my AP Spanish Class this year and my honor’s Spanish class her sophomore year, I personally have observed her dedication and hard work as a student.  As Vice-president of Spanish NHS, she has proven herself as a natural leader.”
And to quote a few of her teachers:
Ms. Vogel writes, “She has been a Lasallian Youth leader since her freshmen year. When Covid hit and we were no longer able to make our monthly PBJ sandwiches, she initiated a new project to make blankets for children in the hospital.  She willingly steps up and interacts with new students, and her quick wit and positive energy helps to create a welcoming atmosphere.”
Ms. Contreras commented, “She is highly intelligent, creative, thoughtful, introspective, and hardworking; these qualities will serve her well this year, at the college level, and in her future career in technology.”
Ms. Dean wrote, “Olivia is the current President of Girls Who Code. She is hardworking, kind, and a great leader. Her passion for STEM motivates me to be a better teacher.”
We’re proud to announce that our September Meteor of the Month is Olivia Perez.
