De La Salle Entrance Exam

De La Salle Entrance Exam Take the make-up High School Placement Test (HSPT) administered by De La Salle Institute on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 8:30 AM. Note that the entrance exam is for 8th graders who are interested in freshman admission to De La Salle. Current high school students interested in transferring to De La Salle do not need to take the entrance exam. Registration is currently open. Students in need of testing accommodations for the entrance exam should register online for the entrance exam and complete the Accommodations Request Form, along with copies of IEP/504 plans by Monday, November 20, 2023.

Applying to De La Salle

Apply to De La Salle The application process for incoming freshmen includes the following steps: Complete an Information Request Form—this allows us to stay in contact with prospective students and creates both the student and parent/guardian account within our system. If you took the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at another Catholic high school, please have that score forwarded to De La Salle's admissions office at admissions@dls.org. Complete the online application—students who take the entrance exam at De La Salle Institute will be sent a link to the application. Submit 6th, 7th, and 8th grade school records and standardized testing scores, including the CPS entrance exam (if applicable). Complete the optional FACTS application, priority consideration is given to families that have submitted the application by Friday, January 5, 2024. Families will be considered on a funds-available basis after this date. Admission to De La Salle Institute is based on consideration of a combination of factors including, but not limited to, entrance exam scores, grade school academic performance, involvement and relationship with the Instittute, leadership and extracurricular activities. Tuition & Payment Plans

Catholic Education An Investment in the Future The tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $14,750. The total cost to educate a student is $18,000, with the difference offset by the Clarke Scholarship, an award granted to all admitted students.  A $325 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve  your child’s place in the freshman class. Registration fee for transfer students is $150.  Families must submit payment with their online enrollment. The $500 enrollment deposit is due May 1, is non-refundable and will be applied to tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year.ANNUAL PLAN Full payment due in July. TWO PAYMENT PLAN Two equal payments due July and December. MONTHLY PLAN Eleven equal payments for freshmen, sophomores and juniors due each month, July through May. Ten equal payments for seniors due each month, July through April. All payments are due no later than the 25th of the month. Summer at D

Summer at D Join us for an unforgettable summer at De La Salle where students create, collaborate and play every day.Summer Programs are open to the public and run from mid-June until the end of July. Choose a morning or afternoon camp, or pair together one of each and make a day of it! Students who register for a morning and afternoon camp, can stay on campus in between (11:30 am-12:30 pm). All programs are centered on campus, but outings and adventures are often part of the fun.   Check back for more updates in Spring 2024!   Shadow Days Experience life as a Meteor.
