The October Meteor of the Month has been involved in STEM club, wrestling, football, mock trial, investment club, NHS, Spanish Honor Society, 3d printer tech club, peer ministry, coding (where he was a Microsoft coding winner) and part of the school’s ComEd tech team.
Mr. Jackowiak wrote “Peter has been an MVP in my class for two years now. He excels at math and he excels at helping others understand math. He goes out of his way to take initiative to help struggling students. He cares about the school community and is the first to volunteer to do whatever is needed. He gets the job done with an able and cheerful spirit. It is fun to have him around.”
Mr. Burke also nominated Peter and said “Peter’s school spirit during Meteors Grow is evident and his love for our school is well-known. He is a rare combination of athlete, scientist, peer minister, mathematician and artist. He is creative and talented. No matter in-person, Covid quarantined, or on concussion protocol he never stopped being proactive and communicative with his teachers. LIFE AT DE LA SALLE IS BETTER BECAUSE OF PETER”
