De La Salle proudly announces that student-athlete Mikhel Teverbaugh ’20 is competing in this weekend’s Illinois High School Association Class 2A Individual State Wrestling Finals at the State Farm Center on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Teverbaugh, who has a record of 27-3 on the season, is participating in the 182-pound weight class.
Last weekend, Teverbaugh earned the IHSA Class 2A Hinsdale South Sectional championship. Teverbaugh is seeded No. 9 among the 16 wrestlers competing in the Class 2A state finals at 182.
Wrestling begins for Class 2A athletes today at 2:15 pm. The championship matches are scheduled for 6 pm on Saturday.
