De La Salle proudly announces that six of its graduates from the Class of 2020 along with one faculty member were honored as part of the Bronzeville Film Festival as sponsored by ComEd.

The Bronzeville Film Festival featured short documentary films about Bronzeville’s extraordinary history, which is an inspiration to face challenges like climate change in the present and future.

The students who produced the videos are from high schools and colleges in or near the Bronzeville community of Chicago.

Honored from De La Salle were Jack Bechina ’20, Adam Creighton ’20, Victor DeAvila ’20, Matthew Dixon ’20, Michael Gallagher ’20 and Cameron Laviste ’20 along with faculty member Ron Cunat.

The short film created by the De La Salle students – under the name of Meteor Productions – was entitled “The Power of Bronzeville.”
