As the 2020-21 school year begins, De La Salle English teacher Brittany Monaco ’14 has devised an interesting way for her students to acclimate themselves.
Utilizing their laptop computers, the Meteors created a Padlet with a “Time to Take a Selfie” board and used this activity to introduce themselves, their hobbies and their happy places through “About Me” posts.
“I am trying to stress the importance of using this time of ‘adjusting to the new normal’ as a means of personal reflection and growth,” Monaco said.
“I see this as a way to be inclusive to the students who are remote learning as they were able to screen-share to present their Padlet responses.”
