Were you there that day back in November, 1984 when De La Salle beat Julian 25-20 in the Prep Bowl at Soldier Field?
Were you one of the Meteors who helped the football team finish that memorable season with a record of 9-3?
If so, we have some excellent news for you.
On Friday, September 27, our current Meteor football team will welcome St. Joseph for two football games. The frosh-soph contest will begin at 5 pm with the varsity matchup kicking off at 7:30 pm.
At halftime of the varsity game, we will honor the members of the 1984 Meteor varsity football team in celebration of their 35th anniversary of winning the Prep Bowl.
In addition, a pregame reception will be held in the multipurpose room in Harrison Hall for the members of the 1984 team.
