As women and men of great faith, De La Salle held its 2019 Ash Wednesday prayer service entitled “Gracefully Broken” this morning in the Parmer Activity Center.
Those in attendance were invited to be honest about our brokenness and to consider the ways in which we can seek healing over the next 40 days of Lent.
Along with the readings and performance by the Meteor choir, ashes also were distributed by the campus ministers to the students, faculty and staff.
Let us begin our journey through Lent, a time of praying, fasting and giving.
