Dear Parents/Guardians and Members of the Class of 2020,

Graduation 2020 is quickly approaching and we are aware of the desire for information regarding the graduation ceremony. I promise you that you will have full details by June 30, 2020. We are awaiting more information from the State of Illinois regarding the potential move to stage 4 before we issue any final decisions. I know that many of you would prefer to have a final direction.  However, I am asking for your patience for a little while longer.
What I can share with you is the following:
Graduation 2020:   (Members of the Class of 2020 only as of 6/13/2020)
Gowns will be provided when you arrive.

Date: Wednesday, July 8, 2020

Time: 7:00 pm

Location:  Parmer Activity Center of De La Salle Institute

Live Stream: The ceremony will be live streamed for the entire De La Salle Family to participate.

Dr. Brown and I are very grateful to you for your flexibility and for understanding that we are trying to do our best to follow the State and City rules for community safety as well as provide you with a graduation that is as inclusive of your families.

In the meantime, below is a letter from Mayor Lightfoot’s office regarding the Chicago celebration of the Class of 2020 on Sunday, June 14.  Please participate in viewing the celebration.  You may find someone you know!
