Dear De La Salle Community:
As we celebrate 130 years of providing Lasallian education to the young women and men of Chicago, I am writing with less than 24 hours to go before we launch our first-ever Virtual Founders Day Celebration! We encourage your participation in our celebration! Proceeds from our activities will support the financial assistance program through the Meteors Rising Fund at De La Salle Institute. We are certain that this need will be greater than ever during these difficult and challenging times. Will you join us on May 15th?

Our Founders Day of Giving will open at 6:00 AM. This is an opportunity for you to make a gift to De La Salle in support of the Meteors Rising Fund. All gifts will be matched by the Elizabeth Louise Smith Fund up to $75,000. Go to https://www.dls.org/givedlsday.jsp. Our Meteors are counting on you!
Grab your ticket stubs if you purchased super raffle tickets! The D-Final Super Raffle Drawing will take place on Friday, May 15th. The deadline to purchase super raffle ticket(s) is Thursday, May 14th by 3:00 PM! Go to https://www.dls.org/dfinal.jsp. Winners will be the school’s website (www.dls.org), and on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages by 3:00 PM.
De La Salle’s Meteors Rising Virtual Silent Auction will be available for you to place bids online beginning at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 15th and will end at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 1st.
In order to place a bid, you will need to ‘subscribe’ to “Bidding for Good” at http://www.biddingforgood.com/dlsinstitute/meteorsrising for your chance to view and bid on more than 30 amazing packages starting as low as $20.00! Please note: You will not be able to bid outside of those dates and times. Best of luck to everyone!
