Br. Chris Oddo, FSC Receives Plaudit

De La Salle proudly announces that faculty and staff member Br. Chris Oddo, FSC, has been chosen a recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Educator Award from the McKinley Park Civic Association (MPCA).

Br. Chris was one of eight educators lauded during the MPCA’s 49th Annual Community Celebration held on March 8 at Polonia Banquets in Chicago.

Br. Chris, who serves De La Salle as its Director of Computer Services, began his teaching career at De La Salle during the 1970-71 school year. After teaching at other schools, Br. Chris returned to De La Salle in 1990 in his current role. He has spent a total of 31 years at De La Salle.

“Br. Chris’ expertise and dedication toward transformational advancements in teaching and learning at De La Salle have made it possible for our students to continue to achieve success in a technologically-driven global society,” De La Salle principal Dr. Diane Brown said.

Congratulations, Br. Chris, on your achievements! Thank you for your exemplary dedication and commitment to the students, faculty and staff of De La Salle! We are very proud of you!
