Congratulations to De La Salle’s Ben Hernandez ’20, who was the winning pitcher for Team USA in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Under-18 Baseball World Cup Super Round today at Gijang-Hyundai Dream Park in Gijang City, South Korea.
Hernandez pitched a complete game in Team USA’s 10-0 victory over Canada, giving up just five hits and walking none in seven shutout innings. Hernandez also struck out eight.
