Late Saturday, De La Salle was informed that student-athlete Ben Hernandez ‘20 was chosen to the 20-man Team USA roster for the 2019 World Baseball Confederation U-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang, South Korea from August 30-September 8.
Team USA will play three exhibition games against Chinese Taipei in Taiwan from August 24-27. The first game of the World Cup will be against South Africa on August 30 at 5 am CDT.
Ben will be one of the pitchers for Team USA.
