One student stated “I’m nominating this person because he’s always been more than just a teacher to me. I’ve been going through some things in my personal life and he has been the light in my darkness. He never dismisses or ignores mine or other students’ feelings. I always feel comfortable and safe talking to him because he has always been there for me and I know he is somebody who I can truly trust and go to, and I can’t thank him enough for all he’s done for me.”
Another student added, “I love his teaching style and the way he thoroughly explains the history of each topic in his class. He’s a phenomenal teacher.”
