December 2022 Meteor of the Month

By December 9, 2022No Comments

We are proud to announce the December Meteor of the Month: Tamiah Spraggins.

This student leads by example. Their willingness to participate in any and every task that was thrown their way AND to follow through were above and beyond what I expected. Not only are they clearly invested in the DLS community, but their efforts in development work show her commitment to service as well. I’m sure any other faculty member who had the opportunity to work with her will echo my sentiments. In a time where it’s difficult to engage others, this Meteor dedication was astounding and I am 100% certain that great things are on the horizon for this Meteor over her next two and a half years as a Meteor.

Ms. Naughton

This Meteor is a shining star that many people may not know about yet. She is a quiet leader of this school as a member of the student council, creative writing club, Lasallian Youth, and Eco club. She is also in the process of trying to start her own Film Club. If you are interested, let her know!

Mr. Miller

I had this Meteor as a student for only one semester during her freshman year, however, her passion for knowledge and learning was very clear. If she was not diligently working, she was lost in a book, or helping others to reach the same level of understanding. I see her now at City of De from the outside and her leadership skills and passion for service are quite apparent. She is ready at the drop of a dime to make this school a better place and will continue to do so as long as she is a member of our community.
