If You’d Like to Stay After School
If you’ve been in Chicago long enough, chances are high that you’ve seen a De La Salle Activity Bus. If you’d like to be on any sports teams or clubs and transportation would be difficult, don’t let it deter you from participating. Our Meteor Activity Bus runs on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and is provided to those participating in after school extra-curricular activities to transport students to points near to their homes along the bus route boundaries. The Activity Bus covers both the Gold and Blue Routes. See maps for details.
Student will board the Activity buses outside the Activity Center on 35th St., outside of doors 6 & 7 at 5:45 pm, and the buses will promptly depart at 6:00 pm.
You have to be participating in a school-sanctioned extracurricular activity to be allowed on the Activity Bus. Students who stay after school for other reasons, such as detention, socializing with friends or being a spectator at a sporting event must arrange their own transportation home.
