This year, as in years past, we are committed to making a Catholic, college preparatory education accessible to all students – especially those who need it most. Currently, 85% of our students rely on financial aid to attend De La Salle, and we are committed to ensuring that every student who wishes to receive a De La Salle education has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial circumstances. For many families, the rising costs of tuition and school-related expenses are a significant barrier to entry. Signum Fidei Valentine's Gala De La Salle Institute is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Signum Fidei Valentine's Gala will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. This year's event will raise funds in support of tuition assistance, academic programs and community enrichment at De La Salle Institute. For over 135 years we have been dedicated to bringing quality Lasallian education to students who are preparing for great futures! Fall Appeal 2024 Over 300 years ago our namesake, St. John Baptist De La Salle, educated young people with the goal of transforming lives.  This foundational mission, inspired by the Holy Spirit, rings true to this day in the hallways of De La Salle Institute. We begin our 135th school year with great strength and high expectations.  Over 750 students stand on the shoulders of more than 23,000 graduates of the Institute and its storied tradition of delivering a first-class Lasallian education.  The faces have changed, but the stories remain the same.  Hardworking families who have a desire and the determination to give their children an opportunity to obtain a Catholic, Lasallian education.  An education that will lead them to greater heights and continue the amazing cycle that is Catholic education.  To sustain and grow our school, we count on you, our community, for annual support.
