Day of Giving

Day of Giving Mark your calendars to celebrate the feast day of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Day of Giving on May 15th. Get ready to follow us on social media in the coming weeks as we tell the story about why De La Salle Institute is a special place and why it is important to carry forward the vision of St. La Salle for accessible, transformative education. For over 300 years, Lasallian education has been about nurturing both the heart and mind of each student. You can make a difference in the lives of our students and honor the legacy of St. La Salle on May 15th with a donation to Day of Giving.  An investment in De La Salle is not just an investment in education—it is an investment in the future. As we reflect on their lives, we celebrate the memories they created, the lives they touched, and the legacy they leave behind. Though they may be gone, they will forever remain a part of our De La Salle community, living on in the stories we tell and the impact they made. Christmas Appeal 2024 About UsBulletins & InformationDevelopmentsupport

Christmas Appeal 2024

Christmas Appeal 2024 As the Christmas season approaches, we are reminded of the importance of community, tradition, and the spirit of giving. It is in this spirit that we reach out to you, our valued alumni and supporters, to share the ongoing need for financial assistance at De La Salle Institute. This year, as in years past, we are committed to making a Catholic, college preparatory education accessible to all students – especially those who need it most. Currently, 85% of our students rely on financial aid to attend De La Salle, and we are committed to ensuring that every student who wishes to receive a De La Salle education has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial circumstances. For many families, the rising costs of tuition and school-related expenses are a significant barrier to entry. Your generous contributions help bridge this gap, allowing students to remain focused on their academic and personal growth without the burden of financial stress. This support not only allows De La Salle to continue its rich legacy of excellence in education, but also ensures that the values of faith, service and leadership are passed onto the next generation of Meteors. During this Christmas season,…

Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday is December 3rd and WE NEED YOU to help us hit our goal of $75,000! Our theme “Give to the Tradition. Give to the Legacy. Give to the Blue & Gold.” challenges our alumni, friends and community to show their appreciation for the many ways that De La Salle Institute has impacted their lives. This year, we continue to celebrate the 5 foundational pillars of a Lasallian education: Faith, Community, Service, Social Justice and Academic Excellence. These pillars define the De La Salle experience, and tie together the 135 years of graduates. De La Salle is committed to providing an excellent education for students of all socio-economic backgrounds and offers financial aid to help families afford tuition.  Over 85% of our current student body receives some form of financial assistance, with the average award being $3,000. This year, De La Salle met our families needs by providing $2.1 million dollars in tuition assistance. Your gift will provide the greatest gift you can give to a young man or woman - a Catholic education.  You can make a difference by making a donation TODAY! Help us reach our goal of $75,000.  Give to the Tradition. Give to the Legacy. Give to the…

Fall Appeal 2024 About UsBulletins & InformationDevelopmentsupport

Fall Appeal 2024

Fall Appeal 2024 Over 300 years ago our namesake, St. John Baptist De La Salle, educated young people with the goal of transforming lives.  This foundational mission, inspired by the Holy Spirit, rings true to this day in the hallways of De La Salle Institute. We begin our 135th school year with great strength and high expectations.  Over 750 students stand on the shoulders of more than 23,000 graduates of the Institute and its storied tradition of delivering a first-class Lasallian education.  The faces have changed, but the stories remain the same.  Hardworking families who have a desire and the determination to give their children an opportunity to obtain a Catholic, Lasallian education.  An education that will lead them to greater heights and continue the amazing cycle that is Catholic education.  To sustain and grow our school, we count on you, our community, for annual support. We ask you to please consider making a gift to this year’s fall appeal.  In doing so, you partner with and inspire our faculty and staff as we work together to provide the greatest gift you can give to a young man or woman - a Catholic education!  If you have any questions, please…
