De La Salle proudly announces that three members of our girls varsity volleyball program have been lauded by the AAU Volleyball National Executive Committee as they have been chosen recipients of the 2019 AAU Volleyball Academic All-American Award.
Honored were Ariana Joubert ’22, Isabella LaCoco ’21 and Zoe Watts ’22. All three student-athletes are members of the Chicago Elite club volleyball program.
Created in 2013, the AAU Volleyball Academic All-American Award recognizes student-athletes for their excellence in academics as well as athletics.
All recipients attended high school during the 2018-2019 school year and participated in the 46th AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships.
Congratulations to De La Salle varsity head volleyball coach Anna Marassa as well as Ariana, Isabella and Zoe on achieving this prestigious plaudit!
