During the month of March, we are taking time to highlight several of our esteemed colleagues and reflect on all they do to ensure that De La Salle is a safe, vibrant, and wonderful institution of learning. The Women of D are a vital part of our community. We are grateful for your contributions.

Meet Tracy Boehm

She is the School Nursewho began her career at De La Salle in 2017. “My day to day is to keep our kids safe, keep them healthy and be someone who can offer advice and make sure they are having a great experience.”

Background and Journey to De La Salle

“I was born and raised in the Gage Park area, I attended Mother McAuley high school and then went to Lewis University. De La Salle has been a part of my life since I was little girl, both of my brothers went here and during high school I started dating my future husband who went to De La Salle. Now I’m the proud mom of two De alums and we truly are a family affair, the Boehm world revolves around De La Salle and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

What inspires you about De La Salle?

“What inspires me are the people of the Institute—the faculty, the students, the staff, the families all inspire me. We truly are a FAMILY and it is amazing, I would do anything for any one of the people in this building and I know first-hand that it isn’t always the case at other organizations. I come to work every day loving my job.”

What Woman has been an inspiration to you?

“I truly admire my mom and sister. My mom because of how she raised us and taught me how to be a great wife and mother. My sister because we are best friends and not only talk every day, but are always there for each other. These two women make everyday a great experience.”
