High School Science Teacher

Position Overview:
As a High School Physics and Chemistry Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the fundamental principles of science through hands-on experiments, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. By creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment, you will nurture students’ curiosity and problem-solving skills while fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts. You will be part of a collaborative and mission-driven school community dedicated to the Lasallian values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Science
- Illinois teaching license
- Experience teaching high school Science
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to the Lasallian mission and Catholic education
Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of Science courses including Physics and Chemistry
- Develop engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that integrate real-world applications
- Guide students in through hands-on experiments, writing, and discussion
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
Additional Information: This position is eligible for the usual and customary benefits provided by the school.
Salary Range: $42,000-$70,000
