Thank you to the 50-plus De La Salle students who spent two days assisting at Misericordia service days last Friday and Saturday in Chicago’s Loop.

By receiving donations for this most worthy cause, our Meteors generated additional revenue to benefit our friends at Misericordia.

Misericordia offers a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities, many of whom are also physically challenged.

Through a spectrum of residential options on its 31-acre Chicago campus and in the community, and with a wide variety of programs, Misericordia currently serves more than 600 children and adults residentially, from diverse racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.

Along with our students, we also thank faculty members Dan Dowling, Tom Dufficy, Rich Mooney ’06, Justin Costello-Stebelton and Anthony Dugo for their efforts in making these days of service so successful. Also, thank you to Mr. Dowling for providing these great pictures.

Faith, service and community – forming the always-strong foundation of
De La Salle.

Well done, Meteors! We’re very proud of you!
