**The dance-a-thon portion for November 19th has been cancelled, but students can still register to compete for some amazing prizes!**

Starting November 1, students will be able to register to participate in the “Dancing With D” dance-a-thon fundraiser. During the registration process, students will be able to customize their own fundraising sites, using software through Givebutter. The first 100 students to register as fundraisers for this event will receive a free gift, which will be handed out upon check-in at the November 19th dance-a-thon.

Register NowOnce you’re directed to DLS’s Givebutter fundraising site, simply click on the “+Fundraise” button to create your own page. In order to help us reach our goal, we’re asking all students to set their fundraising goal to $300. (All students who register will be able to attend the dance-a-thon, regardless of how much they’re able to fundraise but you MUST register to attend the dance.) Once your page has been created, you’ll be able to share across all social media platforms or email. The more you share, like, and promote, the more funds you’ll be able to raise. All funds collected on your personal site will be deposited directly into DLS’s “Dancing With D” account and your progress will be tracked through the site.
This fundraising campaign will run from November 1-November 30. Students can accept two types of gifts. #1 Donations or #2 Pledges per hour danced on November 19. Pledges will be tallied and collected after the November 19th dance-a-thon and will depend on the amount of hours danced. Regardless of the gift type, the easiest way to collect funds will be to direct all payments through your personal fundraising page. Payments that DON’T come in through your personal fundraising pages will need to be turned into the main office, in an envelope to the attention of our Event Manager, Lindsey Naughton, by Nov. 30. In order to credit the proper fundraiser, please write the full name and class year of the student fundraiser, on the outside of the envelope.

*prizes will also be given for: the first 100 students to register, those that hit their $300 fundraising goals, and on event night for some of our dance competition winners
