ComEd welcomed more than 2,000 students to the United Center on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 to learn about careers in clean energy.
The career day event encouraged high school students to consider jobs in the energy sector.
The event featured interactive exhibits, college representatives, scholarship information, and a look at growing positions with the company.
ComEd hopes that the career day will ensure future workers will take over the new clean energy jobs in the pipeline.
“We all had a great time and our student enjoyed a lot of good conservations about careers with ComEd,” said Ronal Cunat, engineering and applied science teacher, De La Salle Institute. “It was a pleasure to meet the CEO of ComEd, Gil C. Quiniones with over 2,000 students in attendance!”
