How the Tablet PC Program Works Beginning with the Class of 2010 and on, students are required to purchase or lease a Tablet PC through De La Salle Institute. What if you already own a laptop or other Tablet PC? Can you use it instead of purchasing one or leasing one from De La Salle? Since De La Salle cannot guarantee software compatibility and compatibility with our wireless network, students may not use other laptops or Tablet PCs. Before the school year begins in August, students receive their Tablet PC when they attend a required training session in order to assure that all students are confident in their computing skills and understand the importance of using technology responsibility. Students use their Tablet PC everyday in their classes and at home to produce their academic work. |
