College Readiness Forum, by parents for parents

Location: Bansley Alumni Hall, Institute Campus for Young Men
The Parent Association is hosting a College Readiness Forum on Thursday, February 18th at 6:30pm in Bansley Hall at the Institute Campus and is open to all Freshman through Senior parents. The objective of this forum is to share information on what steps need to be taken at each grade level to prepare for the College application process as well as for Junior and Senior parents to pass down information and tips based on their experiences with the application process.
Guest speakers will also be present to discuss topics such as general post-secondary information, standardized testing and ACT/SAT prep, and financial aid and scholarship search. We will provide effective sources of information and literature on the college readiness process and end the forum with an open question and answer session.
The goal of this forum is to supplement the valuable information and structure that De La Salle provides – the College Readiness Forum is also a medium for parents across all high school grade levels to share their knowledge and tips/tricks and ask the pertinent question that we all have as parents about the road to our child's College experience.
We strongly encourage you to attend and to take part in this valuable info-share session.
