Welcome to 3455!
3455 is a new publication of The De La Salle Institute Legacy Circle. It is mailed bi-annually to many of our alumni and friends in the belief that the information it provides will be mutually advantageous to them and to De La Salle Institute. Please feel free to share any of the information contained in this newsletter with any interested family members or friends who may benefit as well.
This publication, along with our estate planning website, brings valuable tax planning information based almost entirely on the latest laws, rulings and court decisions. It is hoped that you will find these resources helpful in your personal and business planning.
Moreover, 3455 will suggest ways in which you can generate maximum impact with your charitable giving at minimum cost. As you know, for many years it has been a national policy to encourage philanthropy to charitable causes through tax advantages built into federal legislation by the Congress. 3455 will spell out these advantages. You will, of course, want to consult with your attorney or tax advisor.
Financial planning is important to business and professional men and women. It is even more important to a complex and growing institution like De La Salle Institute, for a substantial part of its annual budget and long-term planning must come in the form of private gifts and grants from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations.
