Great Futures Gala 2010

Sponsored by the Extollo Educational Foundation, the Great Futures Gala is an annual black tie event that celebrates De La Salle Institute as the place where great futures begin and raises funds for the school’s student financial assistance program.

This year at the Great Futures Gala, we honor one of our own, Mayor Richard M. Daley, class of 1960. A longtime champion of education and friend of the school, Mayor Daley is a fine example of an alumnus who has committed his passion and energy in public office to the youth of the city of Chicago.

About Extollo Educational Foundation
Extollo Educational Foundation (“Extollo”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation established in 2007 to support educational programs throughout the Chicagoland community. De La Salle Institute and the Tolton Adult Literacy Center, and the South Side Comets Wrestling Club have been recipients receiving support from the Extollo Educational Foundation.

Extollo, (from the Latin language meaning “to rise up”), provides operational support to educational and community enrichment programs. Areas of primary focus include support for cultural, educational, athletic, and artistic programs as well as program facility enhancements. Extollo does not discriminate with regard to race, creed, color, nationality or ethnic origin.
