In honor and memory of De La Salle alumni who have served, or are currently serving, in our military, De La Salle is creating a Wall of Heroes in the Toth Foyer to be unveiled Veteran’s Day morning, Wednesday, November 11th, 2009. Alumni Info Request: Please complete the brief questionnaire with service member information if you are (or know of) an alumnus who has served or is currently serving in the military. This information will help us populate the Wall of Heroes display with accurate alumni details.
Photos & Memorabilia: We are seeking photos of alumni in uniform and also donations of any military memorabilia items to enhance the Wall of Heroes display. Please contact Mr. John Brogan, Dean of Social Sciences, at broganj@dls.org if you have any materials to contribute. Thank you for helping build the Wall of Heroes and creating this legacy of honor and memory.
All of De La Salle’s alumni, family and friends are invited to attend a special unveiling ceremony of the new Wall of Heroes display on Veteran’s Day, Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 on the Institute Campus for Young Men located at 3434 S. Michigan Avenue. Part of the ceremony’s program will include the National Anthem performed by the De La Salle Band and hearing from one of our veteran alums, Antonio Garcia ’03.
Please RSVP to Sarah Reczek at reczeks@dls.org if you are interested in attending this Wall of Heroes event.
